Meridian Spectre ("Company," "we," "us," or "our") operates the MERIDIAN platform and website. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and your rights regarding that information.

Account Information: When you register, we collect your email address and a password. If you subscribe, we collect payment information through our payment processor (Stripe). We do not store credit card numbers on our servers.

Usage Data: We collect basic analytics data including pages visited, features used, and session duration. This helps us improve the platform.

SITREP Subscribers: If you sign up for daily intelligence briefings, we collect your email address for delivery purposes only.

2. Information We Do Not Collect

We do not collect, store, or monitor:

• Your search queries or regions of interest within the platform
• Which facilities or data points you view or interact with
• Your geographic location beyond what your browser provides for basic analytics
• Personal identification documents or government IDs

Your analytical work on the platform is your business. We do not track what you look at.

3. How We Use Your Information

• Provide and maintain the Service
• Process subscription payments
• Send transactional emails (account confirmation, payment receipts)
• Deliver daily SITREPs if you opted in
• Improve the platform based on aggregate usage patterns
• Respond to support requests

4. What We Do Not Do

• We do not sell your personal information to third parties
• We do not share your data with advertisers
• We do not serve ads on the platform
• We do not share your information with any government agency
• We do not use your data to build marketing profiles

5. Third-Party Services

We use Stripe for payment processing. Stripe handles all card data directly and is subject to its own Privacy Policy. We do not store your payment credentials.

6. Data Security

We implement industry-standard security measures to protect your information, including encrypted data transmission (TLS/SSL), secure authentication, and access controls. No system is 100% secure, but we take reasonable measures to protect your data.

7. Data Retention

We retain account information for as long as your account is active. If you cancel your subscription and request account deletion, we will delete your personal information within 30 days, except where retention is required by law.
